Immigrant & Refugee Services

Introduction

The Immigration Legal Services Program at Jewish Social Services has been recognized by the U.S. Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA) since 2005. Our Accredited Representative is the only Accredited Representative in Dane County, and our staff has served hundreds of people from over thirty-five countries.

On site we are able to help clients in English, Spanish and Russian. We understand the unique challenges facing émigrés. We are available to assist immigrants in understanding immigration laws and rights under the law. By charging nominal fees, we are able to help those who are unable to afford the services of a private attorney. We do so in an efficient, effective, professional and caring manner.  We respect your privacy, maintaining confidentiality and the highest professional standards.  In addition, our social service staff is available to offer assistance in addressing other issues that may be facing individuals and families.
